SUMMER INSTITUTE
About Summer Institute
Each July faculty, administrators, and staff
from across the Texas A&M University System gather for
the DTN Summer Institute to explore
higher education disability issues.
Experts
in the field address various training topics
and TAMU System students with disabilities
share their experiences while participating
in a discussion panel.
Networking
opportunities abound as TAMU System
employees are able to pool resources and
share ideas.
Participants can register in late
spring for this all-expenses-paid training
event. Check back here for registration information.
Past Summer Institutes have been held in College Station in 2006 and Corpus Christi in 2007. The 2008 location is to be decided. Accommodations and travel and meal expenses are covered by the DTN.
